Ο δημοφιλής Youtuber Γκραντ Τόμσον (Grant Thompson), με περισσότερες από 2,5 δισεκατομμύρια προβολές στο κανάλι του στο YouTube, το βράδυ της Δευτέρας πήγε για «παρά πέντε», να κάνει δηλαδή αλεξίπτωτο πλαγιάς.

Δυστυχώς, ο γνωστός Youtuber πέθανε, καθώς προσέκρουσε πάνω σε βουνοπλαγιά ενώ η σορός του ανακαλύφθηκε από τις αστυνομικές αρχές την Τρίτη, όταν και κατάφεραν να εντοπίσουν με GPS το κινητό του τηλέφωνο, που είχε μαζί του.

Το «παρά πέντε» αποτέλεσε το χόμπι του δημιουργού, το τελευταίο πεντάμηνο και ο ίδιος είχε μεγάλη εμπειρία στα extreme sports, όπως το skydiving.

Especially the dreams that inspire you enough to scare you. Today I did something I've been nervous to try, and wanting to do ever since I saw pictures of it a decade ago. But I also like my life and don't want to die just yet and the idea of strapping a giant propeller to my back has been a bit of a hindrance for getting into powered paragliding.
