«Aria»: Μια προφητική έκθεση που διακόπηκε λόγω κοροναϊού

Αν δεν ξεσπούσε η επιδημία του κοροναϊού, στις 19 Ιουλίου θα ολοκληρωνόταν η έκθεση «Aria» στο Palazzo Strozzi της Φλωρεντίας, αφιερωμένη στον καλλιτέχνη Tomás Saraceno.

Η επιδημία είναι πλέον πανδημία, τα μουσεία στην Ιταλία έχουν κλείσει και ο διευθυντής του Palazzo Strozzi, μιλά για την έκθεση και το πώς το φλωρεντινό μουσείο διατηρεί, μετά το λουκέτο, την επαφή του με το κοινό.

«Δεν περιμέναμε ότι θα έπρεπε να κλείσουμε τόσο γρήγορα το Palazzo Strozzi. Τώρα, συνειδητοποιούμε ότι ήταν καλή επιλογή. Κατά συνέπεια, η συμβουλή μου σε άλλες χώρες είναι: όσο πιο σύντομα, τόσο καλύτερα» τόνισε ο Arturo Galansino.

«Η πρώτη μας κίνηση ήταν να δημιουργήσουμε μια πλατφόρμα στο μπλογκ μας και στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης, ένα πρότζεκτ με την επωνυμία «IN CONTATTO/IN TOUCH», όπου διάφοροι οι οποίοι θα συμμετάσχουν θα μας βοηθήσουν να στοχαστούμε το παρόν μας» πρόσθεσε.

Η έκθεση «Aria», την οποία επιμελήθηκε ο ίδιος ο Galansino, υποδεχόταν τους επισκέπτες με μία site-specific εγκατάσταση στην αυλή του Palazzo Strozzi, η οποία αποτελείται από μεγάλες σφαίρες με ανακλαστική επιφάνεια.

Το έργο είναι γέννημα του ενδιαφέροντος του Saraceno να αμφισβητήσει τον τρόπο με τον οποίο προσεγγίζουμε τα ζητήματα που αφορούν το περιβάλλον και οπτικοποιεί το όραμα ενός μέλλοντος χωρίς σύνορα και ορυκτά καύσιμα.

Ενθαρρύνει τον επισκέπτη να ξανασκεφτεί, ποιητικά, τον τρόπο με τον οποίο κατοικούμε τον πλανήτη Γη.

«Για την ώρα εμμένουμε στο σχέδιό μας» εξήγησε ο Galansino.

«Ελπίζουμε να ξανανοίξουμε την έκθεσή μας «Tomás Saraceno: Aria» όταν αυτό είναι ασφαλές. Κατά έναν τρόπο, αυτό είναι το τέλειο show για τις στιγμές που ζούμε. Ο Tomás νιώθει λίγο προφήτης: το έργο του φαντάζεται έναν πιο υπεύθυνο τρόπο να ζούμε».

Η έκθεση ήταν «μια καλή αφετηρία για το blog, το οποίο εγκαινιάστηκε την προηγούμενη εβδομάδα. Επειδή δεν διαθέτουμε συλλογή έργων τέχνης.

Η έκθεση του Saraceno έχει, κυρίως, να κάνει με την αίσθηση να είσαι στον χώρο βιώνοντας το έργο του, άρα δεν είναι εύκολο να τη μεταφέρεις στο διαδίκτυο.

Γι’ αυτόν τον λόγο επιλέξαμε να εξερευνήσουμε σε βάθος τα θέματα της έκθεσης, και μέσω ενός βιντεοσκοπημένου μηνύματος του ίδιου του καλλιτέχνη.

Εν τω μεταξύ, και ενώ το μουσείο είναι κλειστό, μπορείτε να μπείτε στην αυλή μας, στην καρδιά της Φλωρεντίας, η οποία φιλοξενεί την site-specific εγκατάσταση «Θερμοδυναμικός Αστερισμός» του Saraceno (απλώς, βεβαιωθείτε ότι κρατάτε τη σωστή απόσταση από τους άλλους επισκέπτες)» υπογράμμισε ο διευθυντής του Palazzo Strozzi.
