Η Λίβερπουλ εμφανίστηκε φρέσκια λες και έπαιζε στην ... περσινή Πρέμιερ Λιγκ, νίκησε 4-2 μέσα στο Ολντ Τράφορντ την Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ και ξέρει ότι με τρεις νίκες στα εναπομείναντα ματς (δυο εκτός έδρας με Γουεστ Μπρο, Μπάρνλεϊ και ένα στο Άνφιλντ με κόσμο στις εξέδρες, στην τελευταία αγωνιστική κόντρα στην Κρίσταλ Πάλας) παίρνει την 4η θέση και εξασφαλίζει την συμμετοχή της στο Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ της νέας περιόδου. Οι "κόκκινοι" έφτασαν τους 60 βαθμούς, τέσσερις λιγότερους από Τσέλσι (64) και έξι από Λέστερ

(66), αλλά έχουν ένα αγώνα λιγότερο και με δεδομένο ότι Λέστερ και Τσέλσι παίζουν μεταξύ τους, οι τρεις νίκες της Λίβερπουλ την βάζουν σίγουρα στην τετράδα.

Ο Τρεντ Αλεξάντερ Άρνολντ έμοιαζε ακούραστος πατώντας κάθε σπιθαμή του αγωνιστικού χώρου, σίγουρα ο Γκάρεθ Σαουθγκέιτ, θα σημείωσε με κεφαλαία το όνομά του εν όψει του Ero

"I don't have to say one word about Bobby Firmino and how important he was for us. So I don't waste time with that," Klopp said.

"[People who are] not with us, I don't care if they know about him.

"He was in so many games the difference maker, without scoring maybe, but with scoring as well in other games.

"I would feel really embarrassed if I had to mention now the qualities of Bobby Firmino."

Klopp was asked further to explain what Firmino brought to Liverpool that might not be obvious to the casual observer, but he refused.

‘That is not only for Bobby either, but you asked about him. That is a general thing for us.’

"I can't help these people, sorry," Klopp said. "If they don't see it, I can't help them."

Bobby is not old or tired or lost everything, not at all. We see everything in training, but we need to make sure we bring that more often on the pitch.

So let me say it like this, when we lost our defence and stability a bit because of injuries, everybody had to play differently to protect the defence.

‘That means you play a yard further back, or two, or five, or 10. That keeps your focus away from an offensive situation because you would think already that when you lose the ball you have to get it back.

So there are a lot of complex things that have happened this year and so far it was why this is the season we saw. There are absolutely no excuses, and I hope that is clear, but it is a description.

‘Bobby is a good example of that but he is in a good moment, he trains really well and that is good.’
