To Έπος του 1940 σε 46 άγνωστες φωτογραφίες-Στιγμές Ιστορίας

Για το έπος του 40 έχουν γραφτεί πολλά και σήμερα, 80 χρόνια μετά, γνωρίζουμε σχεδόν την κάθε πτυχή και λεπτομέρεια του!

Ωστόσο επειδή η ιστορία δεν γράφεται μόνο με λέξεις αλλά και με εικόνες, υπάρχει ακόμα σπάνιο φωτογραφικό υλικό που παραμένει αδημοσίευτο και άγνωστο στο κοινό που έχει δει μόνο τις γνωστές-και λίγες -εικόνες από το μέτωπο και τα μετόπισθεν.

Αυτό το υλικό φυλάσσεται στα αρχεία του Πολεμικού Μουσείου και έχει ιδιαίτερη αξία.

Αποτυπώνει τους πολεμιστές, τους τραυματίες, τις μάχες, τον πόνο, τη χαρά,

τον θάνατο, την ελπίδα, τη νίκη και ολόκληρο τον αγώνα.

Είναι στρατιωτικές φωτογραφίες, και πλαισιώνουν αναφορές και εκθέσεις.
