Another intimate ice shot from the surreal black sand beach near Jokulsarlon, Iceland. I could photograph here for weeks and never get bored. I'm moving over to Colorado from Australia tomorrow and I'm super excited. Cannot wait for this new chapter of my life to begin and to have a whole new state and it's surroundings to explore. If you're ever in the area give me a shout!

Taking a night flight across the ocean shortly, Maui here I come!! The last time I landed somewhere new was Iceland. This is a quiet scene while staying in Budir. Pretty little church lit up like it was strung with its own set of stars ✨ ✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱✱ Also, guys I can't thank you enough for the super cool + tremendously gracious encouragement from yesterday's post! Gonna be offline for a bit but catch up as soon as I can ♡

Bruarfoss was one of my favorite hidden gems in Iceland, the natural blue color of the water makes it very unique. It takes a short hike to get there and can be pretty hard to find, so it doesn't attract as much attention from tourists as some of the bigger waterfalls. #Bruarfoss #Iceland #waterfall #travel #winter #arctic @icelandair #mystopover

Je me souviens bien de ce jour. Cet homme et cette femme habillés de rouge, filant droit vers cette masse prodigieuse. Il n’y avait aucune hésitation dans leur démarche. Chaque pas était précis et rapide. Pas un regard échangé. Parc National de Skaftafellsjökull (Sud de l’#Islande) ⋆ I remember this day. The man and the woman in red, speeding straight towards the prodigious mass. There was no hesitation. Every step was precise and quick. Not a glance exchanged. Hikers on Iceland's Sólheimajökull glacier must be careful of cracks and crevasses in the ice. I risked losing my phone to take this picture.

Part 3 of 10 of the Magic Waterfall. To the right of the road we were walking on was a wide open meadow with few rolling hills in the far background. Around mid point to the fall, we spotted a reindeer slowly crossing the field. Now, there are not very many wild animals in Iceland, and reindeer are certainly one of the rarest of them all, as there are only about 3,000 of them that roam around Southeast and East Iceland. Reindeer are mostly seen at higher elevations during the summer, but they are often seen seeking out the lower grassland closer to the coast during winter. We couldn’t help but stop and simply watch for awhile as she walked across the foggy landscape.
