The School of Classics is pleased to advertise a permanent lectureship in Classics.  Candidates will have obtained (or be about to obtain) a PhD in Classics as broadly defined (including Ancient History) and will be able to show evidence of high quality research in their chosen specialism.  Specialism in the area of Classical languages and literature is desirable, though applications are welcomed from candidates with a range of specialisms.
 
This post is available from the 1 January 2013 and it is expected that the appointee will be able to take up the post on that date or as soon as possible thereafter.
