Athens stock market rally reaches new high

Stock prices have recorded significant gains, with the market closing at new 13-year highs, surpassing the 1,490-point mark.

The rally comes after two slumpish sessions.

The value of transactions reached 135.503 million euros, with 27,239,831 shares traded.

The high capitalization index rose by 1.57 percent, while the mid-cap index strengthened by 0.49 percent.

A total of 75 stocks moved upwards, 37 declined, and 15 remained unchanged, signaling a positive trend in the market as it approaches a significant milestone. The surge reflects investor confidence and anticipates further growth in the coming sessions.
