Τα τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά των τριών εκδόσεων του Hyundai Ioniq

H Hyundai ετοιμάζεται για το ντεμπούτο του Ioniq, στην έκθεση της Γενεύης, την ερχόμενη εβδομάδα, και σήμερα μας δίνει λεπτομέρειες για τα τεχνικά χαρακτηριστικά και των τριών διαφορετικών powertrains. Οπτικά οι εκδόσεις διαφοροποιούνται από τις μπλε λεπτομέρειες στο Ioniq Hybrid και Ioniq Plug-In, με το Ioniq Electric να έχει λεπτομέρειες στο χρώμα του χαλκού, με το κορεάτικο μοντέλο να τοποθετείται απέναντι από το Toyota Prius, και τις μπαταρίες όλων να προέρχονται από την LG Chem.

Η υβριδική έκδοση παίρνει κίνηση παίρνει από έναν 1.600αρη GDI κινητήρα απόδοσης 105 ίππων με 147 Nm ροπής και συνδυάζεται με έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα 43,5 ίππων με 170 Nm ροπής που τροφοδοτείται από μπαταρίες ιόντων λιθίου χωρητικότητα 1,56 kWh, τοποθετημένες κάτω από τα πίσω καθίσματα. Η συνδυαστική ιπποδύναμη του φτάνει τα 141 άλογα και 265 Nm ροπή, που χαρίζουν τελική ταχύτητα 185 χλμ/ώρα και εκπομπές CO2 79 γρ./χλμ

Η plug-in υβριδική έκδοση κινείται από τον ίδιο κινητήρα εσωτερικής καύσης, αλλά έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα 61 ίππων, με τις μπαταρίες ιόντων λιθίου να έχουν χωρητικότητα 8,9 kWh, κάτι που χαρίζει στο αυτοκίνητο ηλεκτρική αυτονομία πάνω 50 χλμ., με τις εκπομπές CO2 να είναι μόλις 32 γρ./χλμ. Θα προσφέρεται σε δύο επίπεδα εξοπλισμού, τα οποία θα επηρεάζουν την κατανάλωση του οχήματος. Αυτό γιατί στη βασική του έκδοση θα πατάει σε 15άρες ζάντες με ελαστικά διαστάσεων 195/65, με την μικτή κατανάλωση να είναι 4,4 λίτρα/100 χλμ. και στην ακριβότερη ζάντες 17 ιντσών και ελαστικά 225/45 με μικτή κατανάλωση 4,95 λίτρα/100 χλμ. Το βάρος του στην πρώτη θα αγγίζει τα 1.380 κιλά, ενώ στην πιο πλούσια 1.410 κιλά.

Η ηλεκτρική έκδοση φορά έναν ηλεκτροκινητήρα απόδοσης 120 ίππων και 295 Nm ροπής και μια μπαταρία 28 kWh, τοποθετημένη κάτω από τα πίσω καθίσματα, που δίνει στο αυτοκίνητο αυτονομία 250 χλμ, σύμφωνα με τον κύκλο δοκιμών της Νότιας Κορέας και τελική ταχύτητα 165 χλμ/ώρα. Στόχος της Hyundai είναι να πουλήσει 4.000 ηλεκτρικά Ioniq φέτος, με τις πωλήσεις του να ξεκινήσουν στην Ευρώπη από το καλοκαίρι

H θερμική απόδοση του κινητήρα εσωτερικής καύσης αγγίζει το 40%, όντας ίδιος με τον αντίστοιχο 1.800άρη του νέου Prius. Η ροή του λαδιού έχει απλοποιηθεί με τη βαλβίδα ελέγχου λαδιού εισαγωγής (OCV), που είναι ενσωματωμένη με τον μεταβλητό χρονισμό των βαλβίδων (CVVT) και από τη στιγμή που μπλοκ θερμαίνεται γρήγορα, υπάρχουν λιγότερες τριβές στον κινητήρα, άρα και μικρότερη κατανάλωση καυσίμου. Ο κινητήρας θα συνδυαστεί με ένα ειδικά εξελιγμένο ηλεκτρικό μοτέρ και θα κουμπώσει πάνω σε ένα νέο 8-τάχυτο αυτόματο κιβώτιο.

Στο εσωτερικό του υπάρχουν μπλε λεπτομέρειες, κοφτό τιμόνι, μεταλλικά διακοσμητικά, ψηφιακός πίνακας οργάνων, οθόνη 7 ιντσών για το σύστημα ενημέρωσης και ψυχαγωγίας, που θα προσφέρει συνδεσιμότητα με Android Auto και Apple CarPlay. Το κορεάτικο μοντέλο θα έχει καλύτερη κατανάλωση καυσίμου από το γιαπωνέζικο μοντέλο στον αυτοκινητόδρομο, επειδή θα διαθέτει setup “ενός κινητήρα, ενός συμπλέκτη”. Η αποτελεσματικότητα του συστήματος του Ioniq, σύμφωνα με την εταιρία βασίζεται στο ότι είναι απλό, ελαφρύ και φθηνό. Το Prius, αντίθετα, χρησιμοποιεί πιο πολύπλοκες ρυθμίσεις δύο κινητήρων. Όμως, το setup ένας-κινητήρας, ενός-συμπλέκτη είναι δύσκολο να κατασκευαστεί, διότι είναι δύσκολο να συγχρονιστεί το περιστρεφόμενο μοτέρ με την ταχύτητα του κινητήρα, πριν τα “ενώσεις” μέσω ενός συμπλέκτη. Η Hyundai επιλύει το πρόβλημα, υιοθετώντας ένα ισχυρό κεντρικό επεξεργαστή που είναι αρκετά γρήγορος για να διαχειριστεί ένα γρήγορο και ομαλό κλείδωμα του συμπλέκτη, με αυτό να διαρκεί μόλις 0,6 δευτερόλεπτα.

Το όνομα του μοντέλου προέρχεται από τη λέξη “ιόν” – δηλαδή ένα άτομο το οποίο φέρει ηλεκτρικό φορτίο. Σαφής αναφορά στον συνδυασμό των “ηλεκτρισμένων” powertrains με τα οποία θα είναι διαθέσιμο το μοντέλο. Όσο για το “Q”, το οποίο φαίνεται και στο logo του αυτοκινήτου, δείχνει μία νέα προσέγγιση στο ζήτημα των αυτοκινήτων με χαμηλές εκπομπές ρύπων – ότι κι αν σημαίνει αυτό. Να θυμίσουμε ότι το όνομα “Ioniq” είχε χρησιμοποιηθεί από την Hyundai το 2012, στο ομώνυμο concept. Το ντεμπούτο του Ioniq θα γίνει στην έκθεση της Γενεύης τον Μάρτιο.

As the world’s first model offering three electrified powertrains, IONIQ will make low-to zero-emission mobility accessible to everyone. This new approach delivers an uncompromised design and driving experience through innovative technology, latest connectivity and safety technologies.

The All-New Hyundai IONIQ is an important milestone of Hyundai Motor’s sustainability strategy, bringing to life the brand’s new thinking through new innovative technologies and extending the company’s product range to support further organic sales growth in Europe and other markets.

The IONIQ Hybrid and IONIQ Plug-in both feature the new Kappa 1.6 GDI, direct injection petrol, four-cylinder engine with a class-leading thermal efficiency of 40 percent, delivering 105 PS and 147 Nm of torque. The engine has been tailored to the hybrid application and is combined with the directly responding, smooth shifting six-speed double clutch transmission – differentiating theIONIQ from its competitors with a more dynamic driving experience. The mated electric motor enables pure electric driving and delivers instant torque as the chassis with rear multi-link suspension greatly enhancing driving dynamics.

The IONIQ Hybrid’s electric motor delivers 32 kW (43.5 PS) with maximum torque of 170 Nm, powered by a lithium-ion-polymer battery with 1.56 kWh capacity positioned under the rear seats. In combination with the 1.6-GDI engine, IONIQ Hybrid offers a system output of 103.6 kW (141 PS) and up to 265 Nm of torque accelerating to a top speed of 185 km/h with targeted CO2 emissions as low as 79 g/km (combined).

Drivers choosing the IONIQ Plug-in can safely rely on over 50 kilometres of estimated pure electric driving range powered by the potent 8.9 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery. The 45kW (61 PS) electric motor together with the 1.6 GDI four-cylinder Kappa engine targets CO2 emissions as low as 32 g/km.

The IONIQ Electric offers pure e-mobility through a 28 kWh lithium-ion-polymer battery for an estimated range of over 250 km. The instantly available maximum torque of 295 Nm is delivered by the electric motor with maximum output of 88 kW (120 PS) through the single-speed reducer transmission accelerating the car up to 165 km/h.

The IONIQ line-up provides an enhanced customer experience inside through state-of-the art connectivity features like Android Auto, Apple Car Play as well as Tom Tom live services and wireless charging of your smartphone. Furthermore, the driving experience becomes digital through the 7-inch TFT instrument cluster displaying all key driver information.

A holistic and innovative safety package including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist System, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Smart Cruise Control ensures high safety levels for drivers and passengers alike.

All versions feature the sleek aerodynamic silhouette with a class-leading Cd value of 0.24 that complements the soft lines and surfaces tracing the All-New IONIQ’s outline. A fluid exterior shape and natural air flow channels emphasize the aerodynamic body lines and volumes.

Blue accents in the IONIQ Hybrid and IONIQ Plug-in emphasize specific elements on the exterior and completing a seamless design in the interior. The IONIQ Electric features exclusive copper coloured accents, creating an impression that electricity flows through the car’s interior inspiredby the trait of copper being a conductor for electricity.

The All-New Hyundai IONIQ Line-up will celebrate its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show on March 1 during the Hyundai Press Conference at 10:30 CET on the Hyundai stand (No. 1040).
