Η παραγωγή του Ford GT παρατείνεται για 2 επιπλέον έτη

Εκ πρώτης όψεως τα νέα φαίνονται καλά για όσους απορρίφθηκαν από την διαδικασία επιλογής πελατών για το νέο Ford GT, αλλά και για όλους τους petrolhead που ποτέ δεν λέμε όχι σε περισσότερα supercars. Η παραγωγή θα συνεχιστεί με τους ίδιους αργούς ρυθμούς των 250 αυτοκινήτων ανά έτος, δηλαδή περίπου 1 αυτοκίνητο για κάθε εργάσιμη ημέρα. Το όχημα άλλωστε είναι ιδιαίτερο και η Ford Performance

Δεν μπορούμε να κατασκευάσουμε αρκετά GT για να ευχαριστήσουμε κάθε αιτούντα, αλλά οι πιστότεροι πρεσβευτές της Ford θα ανταμειφθούν.

Σε 2 έτη λοιπόν θα παραχθούν επιπλέον 500 Ford GT και η γνωστή διαδικασία των αιτήσεων θα επαναληφθεί το 2018, αν ενδιαφέρεσαι καλό είναι να έχεις εξασφαλίσει το ποσό των 400.000 δολαρίων που αναμένεται να ζητήσει η Ford, για να γίνω πιο σαφής, την ακριβή τιμή όπως και την ακριβή ιπποδύναμη δεν την έχει ανακοινώσει η Ford. Για την πρώτη παρτίδα 500 αυτοκινήτων αιτήθηκαν 6506 άτομα. Για τα επόμενα 500 ο αριθμός των αιτούντων θα έλεγα πως θα εξαρτηθεί από τις κριτικές και την αγωνιστική πορεία στο IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship αλλά και στο FIA World Endurance Championship.

Θα έχει ενδιαφέρον να δούμε αν κάποιοι από όσους επελέγησαν για την πρώτη παρτίδα δηλώσουν εξαπατημένοι με αυτή την κίνηση της Ford. Καταλαβαίνεις πως αναφέρομαι σε αυτούς που αντί να αγοράσουν το αυτοκίνητο για να το χαίρονται το αγοράζουν επειδή είναι σπάνιο και ενδεχομένως θέλουν να το μεταπωλήσουν ακριβότερα.
