Η Ford θα παρουσιάσει το νέο Ka στο Mobile World Congress;

Η Ford ανακοίνωσε πως στο περιθώριο του Mobile World Congress που θα διεξαχθεί στην Βαρκελώνη στις 22 του μηνός, θα παρουσιάσει ένα νέο μοντέλο για την ευρωπαϊκή αγορά. Παρότι η Μπλε Οβάλ εταιρία δεν επιβεβαίωσε πιο μοντέλο θα είναι αυτό, η λογική λέει πως πρόκειται για το νέο Ka, ειδικά όταν στις αρχές του μήνα μάθαμε πως η παραγωγή της τωρινής γενιάς

του σταματά τον Απρίλιο.

Η ευρωπαϊκή έκδοση του νέου Ka, με την βραζιλιάνικη εκδοχή του να έχει παρουσιαστεί από το καλοκαίρι του 2014, φημολογείται πως θα φορά τον 1.0-λίτρων τρικύλινδρο EcoBoost turbo κινητήρα που θα αποδίδει 100 άλογα. Θα προσφέρεται μόνο ως πεντάπορτο hatchback με την τιμή του να κυμαίνεται στα επίπεδα της τωρινής γενιάς.

COLOGNE, Germany, Feb. 9, 2016 – Ford will introduce a new vehicle for Europe, unveil new advanced in-car technology and detail the latest progress on the Ford Smart Mobility plan at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Ford President and CEO Mark Fields will announce the news in a keynote speech at 14:00 CET on Feb. 22, in Auditorium 1, Hall 4, Conference Village.

Ford is exhibiting for a fifth consecutive year at the world’s biggest mobile event, which last year attracted 94,000 attendees from 200 countries. This year, Fields will highlight developments in mobility, connectivity, customer experience, autonomous vehicles and data and analytics.

Also at Mobile World Congress, Ken Washington, vice president, Ford Research and Advanced Engineering, will announce the winners of the Ford Smart Mobility Game Challenge at the Ford stand on Fira Gran Via, Hall 3, stand #C20 at 10:00 CET on Feb. 24. Launched at Gamescom, the challenge invited developers to create concepts that could help to inspire mobility solutions.
