Η BMW συνεργάζεται με την Samsung. Το αποτέλεσμα ένα smartwatch που “μιλάει” στο i3 [w/video]

Χωρίς αμφιβολία, ένα από τα εντυπωσιακότερα –μιλώντας για τον χώρο του αυτοκινήτου- πράγματα που είδαμε στο φετινό Consumer Electronics Show ήταν η «αυτόνομη» BMW M235i που driftαρε πρακτικά μόνη της. Όμως αυτή η 2-άρα δεν ήταν το μοναδικό πράγμα που παρουσίασε ο Γερμανός κατασκευαστής.

Η BMW μας έδειξε πως κάποιος μπορεί να χειριστεί λειτουργίες ενός αυτοκινήτου (στην προκειμένη περίπτωση μία BMW

i3) μέσω ενός smartwatch (στην προκειμένη περίπτωση το Samsung Galaxy Gear). Ναι, το σύστημα είναι παρόμοιο με αυτό που μας παρουσίασε η Mercedes-Benz πριν λίγο καιρό. Η εφαρμογή μέσα από την οποία χειρίζεσαι το αυτοκίνητό σου ονομάζεται BMW i Remote app και σε αυτό το σημείο είναι «εφαρμογή εξέλιξης». Μέσω του i Remote app μπορείς να δεις το επίπεδο φόρτισης των μπαταριών, την διαθέσιμη αυτονομία, αν οι πόρτες και τα παράθυρα είναι κλειδωμένα, μπορείς να στείλεις έναν προορισμό στον πλοηγό του αυτοκινήτου ή να ρυθμίσεις τον κλιματισμό. The Samsung Galaxy Gear with BMW i Remote App functions offers information on the battery charge and available range of the first all-electric premium model in the compact class, as well as any departure times that have been inputted. The research application also shows whether the windows, doors and sunroof are closed and allows users to send a navigation destination to the vehicle or adjust the on-board climate in preparation for a journey – with the option of spoken commands via S Voice, Samsung’s speech recognition assistant.
