Επίσημο: Subaru BRZ tS STI 2015

Έχουν περάσει δύο χρόνια από την παρουσίαση του BRZ tS STI και η Subaru έκρινε πως ήρθε η ώρα για μία ανανέωση. Οπότε, η Ιαπωνική εταιρία, παρουσίασε την MY2015 έκδοση του μοντέλου αποκλειστικά για την εγχώρια αγορά.

Ο κινητήρας έχει μείνει απαράλλαχτος που σημαίνει πως μιλάμε για το ίδιο, δίλιτρο, τετρακύλινδρο, ατμοσφαιρικό σύνολο που αποδίδει 200 άλογα και 205 Nm ροπής. Κατά τα άλλα όμως,

το tS είναι ένα “πλήρες STI αυτοκίνητο”. Η ανάρτηση τόσο εμπρός, όσο και πίσω, έχει δεχθεί τις περιποιήσεις της Subaru Tecnica International και έχει τοποθετηθεί μία εύκαμπτη μπάρα σε σχήμα V, ένας εύκαμπτος “draw stifferer και μεγαλύτερης διαμέτρου άξονας μετάδοσης. Επίσης, τόσο το VDC όσο και το Sound Creator, είναι ρυθμισμένα από την STI ειδικά γι’ αυτό το μοντέλο ενώ και οι ζάντες ελαφρού κράματος διάστασης 18 ιντσών είναι της STI.

Όσον αφορά στο εσωτερικό, το ταχύμετρο έχει νέο σχεδιασμό, start button, δερμάτινο τιμόνι και λεβιέ ταχυτήτων, καθίσματα της Recaro κ.ά. Η Subaru θα κατασκευάσει μόλις 300 κομμάτια της tS έκδοσης με τους πελάτες να μπορούν να επιλέξουν ανάμεσα στα εξής χρώματα: Crystal White Pearl, Chrystal Black Silica και Sunrise Yellow. Οι παραγγελίες έχουν ήδη ξεκινήσει και οι υποψήφιοι καλούνται να κάνουν μία προκαταβολή μέρους των περίπου €29.000 που κοστίζει η χειροκίνητη έκδοση ή των σχεδόν €29.800 που κοστίζει η αυτόματη.

Tokyo, June 30, 2015 – Subaru Tecnica International Inc. (STI)*1 today announced the release of the “Subaru BRZ tS”, which goes on sale on June 30 through Subaru dealerships in Japan.

Subaru BRZ tS is an STI complete car which achieves both “agile handling performance evoking a racing car” and “a high-quality ride” at a high level. STI further enhanced the base car’s chassis performance by using expertise developed in its motorsport activities, pursuing the rear-wheel drive sports car’s “inherent handling pleasure enabling drivers to control it at will”.

Exclusive tuning such as adoptions of STI’s unique flexible parts embodies highly responsive handling performance. Driving performance has also been enhanced by adoptions of “brembo” ventilated disc brakes, 18-inch aluminum wheels and a front under spoiler. The model comes with special features including the “STI” / “tS” ornaments and exclusively-made fender garnish on the exterior as well as “Recaro”-designed front bucket seats exclusively made for STI and a speedometer with an STI logo inside, which evoke driving excitement and pleasure of ownership.

Body colors available are Sunrise Yellow*2, WR Blue Pearl, Crystal White Pearl and Crystal Black Silica. The model’s production will be limited to 300 units*3.
