Όπως μας είχε ανακοινώσει τον περασμένο Ιούλιο, η Dodge παρουσίασε σήμερα την Viper SRT ΜΥ2015.

Πρώτη και κύρια αλλαγή, όπως πιθανών κατάλαβες, είναι η επιστροφή του ονόματος Dodge στον τίτλο του αυτοκινήτου, μιας και το SRT υπο-brand καταργείται, και μέχρι τώρα λεγόταν SRT

Στη συνέχεια, η αμερικάνικη εταιρία δυνάμωσε τον V10 κινητήρα της οχιάς, με τον 8,4-λίτρων κινητήρα να αποδίδει 645 άλογα, 5 άλογα περισσότερα, με την ροπή να παραμένει στα ίδια επίπεδα, σε αυτά των 812 Nm. Το εξατάχυτο χειροκίνητο κιβώτιο βελτιώθηκε και αυτό στα σημεία, κάτι που πλέον βοηθάει το αυτοκίνητο να μειώσει την κατανάλωση του.

Προστίθεται μια ακόμα νέα έκδοση, η GT, η οποία τοποθετείται ανάμεσα στην απλή Viper και την Viper GTS, με την συγκεκριμένη έκδοση να έχει επιπλέον εξοπλισμό από την entry-level, ο οποίος περιλαμβάνει ρυθμιζόμενη ανάρτηση και ρύθμιση του συστήματος ευστάθειας σε 5 προγράμματα. Στο εσωτερικό της Viper GT θα υπάρχει Nappa δέρμα και αλκαντάρα, καθώς και ειδικές ραφές.

Η πιο σκληροπυρηνική έκδοση είναι η Viper TA 2.0 Special Edition, η οποία βασίζεται στην Viper SRT Time Attack και διεθέτει ένα νέο αεροδυναμικό πακέτο με carbon splitters και μεγαλύτερη πίσω αεροτομή για δημιουργία μεγαλύτερης κάθετης δύναμης. Τέλος, θα υπάρχει και η Viper GTS Ceramic Blue Edition που είναι βαμμένη σε ένα μοναδικό Ceramic Blue χρώμα με μαύρες λωρίδες και ζάντες της Rattler σε χρώμα Black Vapor Chrome.
