H Maserati ανακαλεί 33 GranTurismo για κίνδυνο φωτιάς, η Mazda 374.519 αυτοκίνητα λόγω Takata

H Maserati ανακοίνωσε ότι ανακαλεί στην Αμερική 33 αυτοκίνητα των GranTurismo και GranCabrio, με ημερομηνία κατασκευής από 1η Σεπτεμβρίου 2015 μέχρι 30 Νοεμβρίου του ίδιου έτους. Το πρόβλημα εντοπίζεται σε ένα μη γαλβανισμένο κύριο σωληνάκι τροφοδοσίας καυσίμου, το οποίο μπορεί να οξειδωθεί, προκαλώντας διαρροή καυσίμου αυξάνοντας τον κίνδυνο φωτιάς. Μέχρι σήμερα δεν έχει αναφερθεί κάποιο ατύχημα ή τραυματισμός, με το πρόβλημα να λύνεται με την δωρεάν αντικατάσταση με νέο γαλβανισμένο.

Από την άλλη, η Mazda

Αμερικής ανακαλεί συνολικά 374.519 αυτοκίνητα των Mazda6, κατασκευασμένα από τις 39 Μαΐου του 2002 μέχρι την 5η Μαΐου του 2008, Mazda6 MPS κατασκευασμένα από τις 1 Ιουλίου του 2005 μέχρι την 29η Ιουνίου του 2007 και RX-8 κατασκευασμένα από τις 25η Ιουνίου του 2003 μέχρι την 30ή Ιουνίου του 2003.

Τα αυτοκίνητα αυτά διαθέτουν αναφλεκτήρα της Takata στον αερόσακο του συνοδηγού, ο οποίος μπορεί να εκραγεί. Σε περίπτωση που συμβεί κάτι τέτοιο, μεταλλικά θραύσματα θα μπορούσαν να τραυματίσουν σοβαρά ή ακόμα και να σκοτώσουν τον επιβάτη.

Δεν έχει αναφερθεί κάποιος τραυματισμός ή θάνατος στη NHTSA από τα συγκεκριμένα αυτοκίνητα, αλλά συνολικά έχουν σκοτωθεί 9 άτομα και έχουν τραυματιστεί περίπου 100 από τους προβληματικούς αερόσακους της Takata. Η επίλυση γίνεται με την δωρεάν αντικατάσταση του αερόσακου με νέου.

SUMMARY:Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain model year 2016 Granturismo and Granturismo Convertible vehicles manufactured September 1, 2015, to November 30, 2015. The affected vehicles are equipped with a non-galvanized main fuel delivery line that may corrode and result in a fuel leak.

CONSEQUENCE:A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

REMEDY:Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the main delivery fuel line, free of charge. The recall began on January 7, 2016. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-201-816-2600. Maserati’s number for this recall is 300.

SUMMARY:Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain model year 2003-2008 Mazda6 vehicles manufactured May 29, 2002, to May 5, 2008, 2006-2007 Mazdaspeed6 vehicles manufactured July 1, 2005, to June 29, 2007, and a limited production of model year 2004 RX-8 vehicles manufactured June 25, 2003, to June 30, 2003. The inflators in the front passenger air bags are susceptible to rupture in the event of a crash necessitating the deployment of the front passenger air bag.

CONSEQUENCE:In the event of a crash necessitating deployment of the passenger’s frontal air bag, the inflator could rupture with metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants potentially resulting in serious injury or death.

REMEDY:Mazda will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger’s frontal air bag with a new one, free of charge. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500. Mazda’s number for this recall is 9015L. Note: This recall supersedes recalls 13V-130 and 14V-362 in their entirety. This recall partially supersedes recall 14V-773 in that model year 2003-2006 Mazda6 vehicles covered by that recall are now covered by this campaign.
