Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on Saturday paid a visit to the non-profit organisation for the children "Hamogelo tou Paidiou" at the northern Athens suburb of Melissia. Samaras was accompanied by his wife Georgia.

During his visit, Samaras was briefed on the organisation's

mission and congratulated its president Constantinos Giannopoulos " We came to thank you as a simple family, you are an inspiration and your work is very important throughout Greece" said the premier who was informed that the organisation will offer three more mobile care units for newborn to the National Emergency Aid Center (EKAB).

Giannopoulos also noted that the adoption procedure needs to be changed.

Samaras and his wife were toured to the organisation's premises where they met and had lunch with the children.
