Από το MoMa μέχρι το The Broad: Αυτά είναι τα 10 πιο δημοφιλή μουσεία για το 2016

Όπως κάθε χρόνο, έτσι και φέτος το Instagram έδωσε στην δημοσιότητα όλα τα στοιχεία σχετικά με τα πιο δημοφιλή hashtag, τους πιο δημοφιλείς celebrities, πόλεις και φωτογραφίες. Μέσα στα στοιχεία αυτά ήταν και τα πιο δημοφιλή μουσεία, σύμφωνα με το geotag που χρησιμοποίησαν οι χρήστες της εφαρμογής μέσα στο 2016.

Σίγουρα η λίστα δεν είχε πολλές εκπλήξεις στην πρώτη δεκάδα, με το Musée du Louvre να έρχεται πρώτο και το The Metropolitan Museum of Art, να ακολουθεί.

6. World Trade Center 9/11 Memorial (Νέα Υόρκη)

We did have a parent fail moment yesterday during our ny trip. We took boys to the 9/11 memorial. They weren't ready and neither were we. We lost friends and acquaintances that day and honestly, I'm not sure we'll ever be ready. It was beautifully done, and we said our prayers, but we left after 20 minutes. Live and learn.

9. British Museum (Λονδίνο)

The Enlightenment Gallery is the oldest space in the Museum, completed in 1831 as the King’s Library. After almost 170 years of welcoming visitors, it was closed for refurbishment and reopened to the public in 2003 with a new display exploring the Age of Enlightenment (around 1680 to 1820). The space was described as one of the finest rooms in London when it was built, and is 91 metres long, with a 12-metre-high ceiling! Did you know there’s also a Harry Potter style secret door in the gallery – see if you can find it next time you’re at the Museum. During the renovation hundreds of square metres of intricate plasterwork were carefully cleaned, the oak and mahogany flooring was restored and 200km of wiring was installed for the lighting system. #BritishMuseum #gallery #library #Georgian #Regency #Enlightenment
