Η Αμερικανίδα Caitin Stickels, είναι το πρόσωπο των ημερών στον κόσμο της μόδας, αφού παρά το γεγονός πως πάσχει από το πολύ σπάνιο σύνδρομο Schmid-Fraccaro, κατάφερε να γίνει μοντέλο για φωτογράφηση σε περιοδικό μόδας, πραγματοποιώντας έτσι το παιδικό της όνειρο.

Το σπάνιο σύνδρομο από το οποίο πάσχει η Caitin Stickels, συναντάται σε 1 στους 500,000 ανθρώπους. Λόγω των χρωμοσωμικών διαταραχών που προκαλούνται από το σύνδρομο, οι κόρες των ματιών όσων πάσχουν είναι κάθετες και γι αυτόν τον λόγο το σύνδρομο ονομάζεται εναλλακτικά ως “Cat-Eye syndrome”.

Η 29χρονη, είναι εκτός από μοντέλο καλλιτέχνης και ηθοποιός και όπως αντιλαμβάνεστε, το σπάνιο σύνδρομο από το οποίο πάσχει δεν την έχει πτοήσει από το να πραγματοποιήσει τα όνειρα και τις φιλοδοξίες της. Το αποτέλεσμα; Κάτι παραπάνω από όμορφο, κάτι παραπάνω από ενδιαφέρον.
