Οικολογικά παπούτσια φτιαγμένα από μπανάνα!

Η ισπανική εταιρεία Indianes Footwear δημιουργεί οικολογικά παπούτσια από ίνες μπανάνας που προέρχονται από αγροκτήματα μπανάνας στην Κολομβία.

Αυτό το βιώσιμο εγχείρημα είναι το πνευματικό παιδί του Ivan Rojas και της Diana Feliu.

Η ίνα μπανάνας έχει ένα πραγματικά ιδιαίτερο χαρακτηριστικό τα γεωργικά απόβλητα του, προέρχονται από μια διαδικασία που γίνεται κάθε χρόνο όταν το φυτό πρέπει

να τεμαχιστεί για να αναπτυχθεί ένα καινούριο.

«Είδαμε την ευκαιρία να χρησιμοποιήσουμε αυτά τα απόβλητα και να τα μετατρέψουμε σε τεχνικό και χρήσιμο υλικό για να φτιάξουμε παπούτσια», δήλωσε ο Rojas στα γραφεία του στη Βαρκελώνη.

«Θα χρειαστεί, όταν θαφτεί, περίπου για δύο χρόνια να αποσυντεθεί χωρίς χημικό ή κάτι επιβλαβές για τη Γη» δηλώνει σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες στο Ruptly TV.

Τα παπούτσια σχεδιάζονται στη Βαρκελώνη και κατασκευάζονται σε εργοστάσιο στο Αλικάντε, ενώ η πρώτη ύλη των ινών της μπανάνας συλλέγεται από 60 αγρότες – συνοριοφύλακες στην περιοχή Hulia της Κολομβίας.
