Το δράμα της Ειδομένης και τα καζίνο της Γευγελής.

Απελπισία, φόβος, προβλήματα υγιεινής, έλλειψη τροφίμων και σύνορα ερμητικά κλειστά. Η κατάσταση στην Ειδομένη τρομάζει, θορυβεί και θέτει διαρκώς νέα ερωτήματα που πρέπει να απαντήσουμε στους ίδιους μας τους εαυτούς και στις συνειδήσεις μας.

Πάνω από 14.000 πρόσφυγες βρίσκονται σήμερα εγκλωβισμένοι στην περιοχή, αντιμέτωποι με την πείνα, τις αρρώστιες και τις εφιαλτικές καιρικές συνθήκες. Η ΠΓΔΜ σφραγίζει τα σύνορά της μετατρέποντας την Ελλάδα

σε αποθήκη ψυχών, ενώ χιλιάδες άλλοι πρόσφυγες συνεχίζουν να συρρέουν ασταμάτητα από την Τουρκία.

Την ίδια ώρα που οι πρόσφυγες πέφτουν πάνω στους φράχτες της ΠΓΔΜ, οι Έλληνες πολίτες περνούν τα σύνορα για να αφήσουν τα χρήματά τους στα καζίνο της Γευγελής. Άνθρωποι από τη μεθόριο, αλλά και πιο νότιες περιοχές της Ελλάδας, επενδύουν την τύχη τους σε «ανεξέλεγκτα μαγαζιά» όπως τα είχε χαρακτηρίσει η εφημερίδα Καθημερινή, αφήνοντας υπόνοιες για σκοτεινές μεθόδους και πρακτικές.

Η επιλογή της διασκέδασης είναι αναφαίρετο δικαίωμα του καθενός, δεν θα μπορούσε κανείς να το αμφισβητήσει αυτό. Η πατρίδα όμως είναι δικαίωμα και υποχρέωση μαζί, για όλους μας. Η συγκεκριμένη επιλογή της διασκέδασης ξεπερνά τα προσωπικά όρια ελευθερίας, και γίνεται επιλογή εθνικά επιζήμια. Είναι μια εικόνα τουλάχιστον ντροπιαστική, όταν βλέπεις Έλληνες να ενισχύουν τα καζίνο της Γευγελής και να αφήνουν ζεστό χρήμα στους Σκοπιανούς, συμβάλλοντας, εν αγνοία τους ίσως, στη δημιουργία θέσεων εργασίας στη γείτονα χώρα, αλλά και στερώντας θέσεις εργαζομένων στην Ελλάδα. Να γίνονται συνένοχοι σε ένα ύπουλο παιχνίδι που καταστρέφει σιγά σιγά την ελληνική αγορά και την ελληνική οικονομία, πολλώ δε μάλλον όταν αυτό το παιχνίδι διαδραματίζεται δίπλα σε ένα τόπο που έχει εξελιχθεί σε «τόπο μαρτυρίου» για χιλιάδες πρόσφυγες.

Και τίθεται ένα ακόμα ερώτημα. Γιατί οι πρόσφυγες κατευθύνονται προς την Ειδομένη και όχι προς τους Ευζώνους που βρίσκονται τα καζίνο; Κάποιοι θεωρούν πως οι πρόσφυγες ακολουθούν τις σιδηροδρομικές γραμμές, κάποιοι πιο υποψιασμένοι πως το «λόμπι» των καζίνο ύψωσε αόρατα προστατευτικά τείχη στους Ευζώνους, κατευθύνοντας τις ροές στην Ειδομένη.

Είναι λυπηρό να εθελοτυφλούμε μπροστά σε αυτό το οικονομικό και ανθρωπιστικό δράμα που συντελείται στα σύνορά μας και να μην αναλαμβάνουμε τις προσωπικές μας ευθύνες. Οφείλουμε να μποϊκοτάρουμε τις υπηρεσίες διασκέδασης που μας προσφέρει μια χώρα με επιζήμιες ή και εχθρικές διαθέσεις προς τη δική μας! Οφείλουμε να υποστηρίξουμε το ελληνικό κεφάλαιο που συνιστά την ελπίδα της δικής μας επιβίωσης και πρέπει να παραμείνει πάση θυσία, εντός συνόρων!
