1. Transmission Planning Engineer

The role:

The successful candidate will plan, design solutions and optimize the Transmission wired or wireless network of MTN, according to the overall strategic targets and the guidelines

given by the Transmission Planning & Optimization.

Responsibilities:

Plans, designs and dimensions (hardware and software) the Transmission Network.Calculates link budged calculation for wire or wireless connection by using advanced software applications. Decides the most cost effecting equipment (antennas / wireless transmitters/optical sources/ lasers) for each solution. Plan the deployment of the optical network of the company by using advance software applications (GIS / MapInfo)Instructs and authorizes configuration changes and implementation of new transmission network elements. Orders hardware, features, functionalities and software releases for the TDM/IP/ MPLS / Hybrid Transmission Networks.Generates performance and optimization reports. Generates work orders towards Network Operations and Implementation and other departments for the execution of implementation plans and configuration changes. Participates in the acceptance tests of new elements and features in the Transmission Networks, during the First Office Application Phase. Contacts vendors, exchanging information for software and hardware upgrades. Analyses overall network impact of proposed configuration changes. Studies new technologies and proposes improvements in the Transmission Network. Documents network configurations, maintaining an updated library with the configurations of the network.

Experience/Knowledge:

Graduate degree in Engineering and / or Computer Science, preferably with a specialization in Telecommunications or Networks.Post graduate degree will be considered as an advantage2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in Optical Ntw deploymentVery good knowledge of SDH and MPLS MUXes/ MW theory / Fiber Optic theory (CWDM / DWDM)Excellent analytical skillsVery good knowledge of English and Greek

2. Technology Finance Business Partner

The role:

The successful candidate will provide support to Technology Financial Business Partner for activities related to cost efficiency and economic analysis. Main responsibilities of the role include the coordination of all Technology Financial Business Partner department activities related to Cost Efficiency Programs, Analysis of Financial Returns, Capex impact on Cash Forecast & Tracking, contribution to monthly performance pack and Forecast support.

Responsibilities:

Define and upgrade cost efficiency KPIs and reports.Monthly report on Technology Area efficiency programs. Track of main saving initiatives. Identification, Definition, Forecast and Tracking of Costs Savings initiatives with Technology Team and SCM.Support on cost benchmarks (both internal and external) data gathering and analysis results. SCM Savings validation and approval.Support on investment appraisal process including the proper preparation for investment approval committees. Define and generate monthly report on Financial returns. Implementation and support to new Post-investment review policy. Business case analysis. Provide forecast of Capex impact on cash aligned to Financial Planning Cycle Continuous tracking of Capex impact on cash. Monthly report of Capex impact on cash vs forecast.

Experience/Knowledge:

Graduate degree in Software Programming, Engineering and /or Telecommunications,Post graduate degree in Accounting and/ or Finance OR Professional Qualification – ACCA, ACA, CFA2 to 3 years of relevant work experience on Financial analysis, cost control and knowledge of Telecom industryVery good knowledge of SCM or a similar functionVery good knowledge of Financial Analysis, Planning & Reporting tools/methodologyExcellent analytical skillsVery good knowledge of English and Greek
