Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire accounting cycle: Bookkeeping, Collection & Payments, Bank Reconciliations, VAT, Payroll etc.
• Prepares all necessary financial statements of the Company for reporting purposes to Tax and other local Authorities
• Prepares Annual Budget and Forecasts in collaboration with the General Manager
• Produces and analyses financial reports for local and Group management
• Controls and analyses expenses
• Ensures the implementation of Group Financial Policies locally
• Cooperates with Auditors for the year-end Audit review/report

Qualifications & Experience

• More than 5 years of experience in the Accounting profession, preferably within a multinational company of the High Tech sector
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Economics
• Post-Graduate Degree and/or Accounting Certification will be considered an asset
• Good working knowledge of IFRS will be considered a strong asset
• Previous experience in trade logistics (customs, forwarding, LCs, physical warehouse)
• Knowledge of payroll calculation and social security, VAT, income tax and other local practices
• Very good experience in key business software applications (MS Excel/Word, local financial accounting packages etc.)
• Previous experience in the implementation of an ERP system will be considered a plus
• Excellent command of English language
• Organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal/communication skills
