Πισωκίνητο “Santa-Fast” με 1.000+ άλογα από τον Bisimoto

Ο Bisimoto έχει ένα σοβαρό πρόβλημα τα τελευταία χρόνια. Δεν μπορεί να βγάλει αυτοκίνητο με λιγότερα από 1.000 άλογα. Τελευταίο παράδειγμα, το Hyundai Santa Fe που βλέπεις στην κεντρική εικόνα – ένα θηρίο που χάρη στις περιποιήσεις της Bisimoto Engineering στον 3.8 λίτρων V6 του, αποδίδει 1.040 ίππους!

Προς το παρόν, το μόνο που έχουμε στη διάθεση μας είναι το σχέδιο που βλέπεις, αλλά το όχημα θα ολοκληρωθεί και θα παρουσιαστεί στη φετινή SEMA. Για να μπορέσει ο κινητήρας να αποδώσει αυτά τα άλογα, ο βελτιωτικός οίκος αντικατέστησε τα πιστόνια και τις μπιέλες με νέα, πιο ανθεκτικά κομμάτια ενώ νέοι είναι οι εκκεντροφόροι και πολλά ακόμα εξαρτήματα. Φυσικά, το μεγαλύτερο μερίδιο στην παραγωγή της εξωφρενικής ιπποδύναμης έχουν τα δύο turbos της Turbonetics που ανεβάζουν μέγιστη πίεση υπερπλήρωσης 2.7 bar.

Σαν να μην έφταναν τα 1.000+ άλογα για να τρομάξουν τον οποιοδήποτε, το “Santa-Fast” όπως ονομάζεται το βελτιωμένο Santa Fe, είναι πισωκίνητο. Ναι, όλα αυτά τα άλογα, περνούν από ένα μηχανικό, 6-τάχυτο κιβώτιο πριν καταλήξουν στο πίσω διαφορικό και από εκεί, στον δρόμο. Φυσικά, αναβαθμισμένο είναι και το σύστημα πέδησης, με τις τετραπίστονες δαγκάνες να έχουν πολύ δύσκολο έργο. HYUNDAI JOINS FORCES WITH BISIMOTO TO DEVELOP “SANTA-FAST” 1,040 HORSEPOWER REAR-DRIVE SANTA FE SUV FOR 2016 SEMA SHOW

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Sept. 28, 2016 – Hyundai Motor America and Bisimoto have again partnered for the SEMA show, this time developing a 1,040 horsepower, rear-drive “Santa-Fast” SUV. Bisimoto is well-renowned for awe-inspiring street, show and race vehicles. With no fear of the unknown, Bisimoto is always on the cutting edge of automotive technology, and the Bisimoto “Santa Fast” Santa Fe is no exception, pumping out the power from a flex-fuel turbocharged, Hyundai-based 3.8L Lambda V6 powerplant making reliable power, positioned longitudinally and driving the rear wheels.“Bisimoto takes pleasure in making any vehicle fun to drive, even a larger SUV,” said ‘Bisi Ezerioha, owner of Bisimoto. “Our Santa-Fast SUV is a proof-of-concept vehicle with driving capabilities that our customers can count on every day they turn the key.” The Bisimoto team worked exhaustingly on the custom rear-drive and six-speed manual transmission conversions to achieve an OEM-like appearance and function. Full boost for the powertrain is 39 psi, and a boost-per-gear protocol is used to allow for optimal traction.
