Η Honda παρέδωσε το πρώτο Clarity Fuel Cell

Το πρώτο Clarity Fuel Cell παρέδωσε η Honda στον υπουργό οικονομίας, εμπορίου και βιομηχανίας της Ιαπωνίας. Η παράδοση έγινε από τον Takahiro Hachigo, Πρόεδρο και Διευθύνων Σύμβουλο της Honda, με το μοντέλο να πωλείται στην αγορά της Ιαπωνίας από 7.660.000 γεν (€60.750).

Το υδρογονοκίνητο sedan,

έχει μήκος 4.895 χιλιοστά, πλάτος 1.875 και ύψος 1.475 χιλιοστά και μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως και 5 άτομα χάρη στην δουλειά που έχει γίνει από τους μηχανικούς της Honda στην μείωση των διαστάσεων του powertrain. Ζυγίζει 1.890 κιλά και οι κυψέλες υδρογόνου, έχουν κατά 33% μικρότερο μέγεθος σε σύγκριση με αυτές του FCX Clarity ενώ η πυκνότητα ισχύος έχει αυξηθεί κατά 60%, φτάνοντας πλέον τα 3,1 kW/L. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι η ιπποδύναμη του Clarity Fuel Cell είναι 177 άλογα. Επίσης, χάρη στην δεξαμενή υδρογόνου υψηλής πίεσης 141 λίτρων, το μοντέλο έχει αυτονομία 750 χιλιομέτρων στον αυστηρό JC08 κύκλο δοκιμών. Όταν εξαντληθεί το υδρογόνο στη δεξαμενή, ο ανεφοδιασμός διαρκεί περίπου 3 με 5 λεπτά.

Honda President and CEO, Takahiro Hachigo, delivers first Clarity Fuel Cell to Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and IndustryContributes to the realisation of a hydrogen society

Honda has made its first delivery of Clarity Fuel Cell to the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). Honda’s president and CEO, Takahiro Hachigo, delivered the keys to Mr Tsuyoshi Hoshino, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry at a ceremony held at the METI offices.

Mr. Hoshino commented, “When I got behind the wheel of the Clarity Fuel Cell for the first time today, I felt Honda’s strong passion toward the realisation of a hydrogen society. For the popularisation of FCVs and hydrogen stations, which will be the key to the realisation of a hydrogen society, METI will continue to pursue the joint effort of the public-private partnership by facilitating closer collaboration with automakers such as Honda, along with hydrogen station operators and other stakeholders.”

Mr. Hachigo also commented, “It is our pleasure to deliver the first unit of our Clarity Fuel Cell to the METI as part of the integrated public and private efforts to realise a hydrogen society. Honda will contribute to the realisation of this hydrogen society by further development of our technologies and offering highly attractive FCVs to our customers at more affordable prices.”

In Europe the Clarity Fuel Cell will be available in limited numbers through the HyFIVE project in UK and Denmark from September 2016. This first step in commercialisation fuel cell technology in Europe will provide valuable data on real-world customer usage and expectations.
